First Cold Reading

I had to read the article a few times before I focused in on what Brandt's argument was. After I realized she was comparing reading and writing I was still unsure if I agreed. After answering the other questions I feel that I do agree. Brandt feels writing is personal experience and it is not developed through learned behavior braanan tx that have occurred in ones life and reading is a skill attained by watching others especially family. Self-sponsored writing is writing alone in moments where the need to express ones sentiments is great and releaved through writing. Brandt describes reading like a favorite pastime or a group effort. Reading springs off feelings of joy and togetherness. Writing is something practiced alone in quiet areas driven by gloomier feelings. I agree with Brandt that writing emerges from " circumstances and feeling" and I feel journalist is a good example of how writing displays that by chronicling events of ones life with a detailed account of how these events make one feel.
