So we completed work on Haas & Flower and we're moving on! Today we'll tackle our last cold reading and discuss reading 'non-traditional' texts.
We'll try our hand at synthesizing again, but this time we'll work with a Q and the sources we are using for our 1301 course! :D
Thursday we'll work on any missed assignments: Vocab in context journal, cold readings, etc.
I will ask you to do one thing for homework:
Freewrite; think about your experiences in our small course. What have they been? Do you have any big, memorable experiences? Small ones that have affected you over time? Have you had experiences with reading in this class that have affected your reading habits, attitude and approach in other classes?
Write out these big experiences and bring them into class on Thursday.
If we have time we'll start this in class today! :D
